Introduction:

 

Established in 1988, Nepal Heart Foundation (NHF), a forerunner non-governmental organization, registered in Chief District Office, Kathmandu, Nepal promotes awareness among the people to reduce the incidence of heart diseases which have been taking increased toll of death in the world. Similarly, Nepal is also encountering the increased heart diseases over period of time. In order to prevent heart diseases through public awareness, NHF promotes awareness campaign and other national programs through its 63 district units spread all over Nepal. NHF is also a member of World Heart Federation, Geneva, Switzerland and of Asia Pacific Heart Network.

Vision:

 

NHF as a service oriented forerunner organization, succeeds in decreasing incidence of occurrence of heart disease and ensure better life free of heart disease, promotes easy access of heart related facility.

 

 

Mission:

 

NHF develops a platform to mobilize combined efforts of civic and non-civic stakeholders to leada national campaign to prevent heart disease with a focus on the groups of people with high risk factors.
