Program on World Heart Day, 2019, was jointly organized by Nepal Heart Foundation Central Committee, NHF, Lalitpur Branch, Kathmandu Branch, Bhaktapur Branch and Heart Club Nepal. The venue of the program was the meeting hall of Nepal Heart Foundation of Lalitpur Branch at Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Mr. Bipin Rai, President of Heart Club Nepal delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. The Chief guest was the past president of NHF , Dr. Lok Bikram Thapa . He was kind enough to inaugurate the World Heart Day Program.. Mr. Dipendra Purush Dhakal, President of Nepal Heart Foundation extended Dashain Suvakamana to the participants. Dr. Prakash Raj Regmi, general secretary of Nepal Heart Foundation donated 1million rupees for establishing Dr. Regmi Rheumatic Heart Disease Research Fund. Mr. Balram Neupane, vice president of Nepal Heart Foundation concluded MOU with Nepal Heart Foundation to establish Branch Strengthening with the donation of NRs. 8,50,000. Mr. Surendra Bichuke, member of Bhaktapur Branch, highlighted about the importance of yoga for healthy heart. Dr. Uttam Krishna Shrestha, Coordinator of Heartnet for 2019, reminded the tips to keep one self heart helthy and informed about the World Heart Day celebration program at Manmohan Center on 28 September, 2019 . During Suvakamana message, Dr Prachanda Pradhan committed to contribute 20,000 towards the support to Heartnet Secretariat office at Nepal Heart Foundation. Mr. Badri Prasad Pokharel also contributed Nrs.10,000 for Heart Net Secretariat office. Delivering the thank you note by Mr. Balram Shrestha, Chairman Kathmandu Branch, he also contributed Nrs. 2,00000 in Dr. Regmi Rheumatic Heart Disease Research Fund. Concluding note was delivered by Dr. Pushpa Raj Rajkarnikar, Chairman, Lalitpur Branch. During his speech, he also contributed 1,00000 on behalf of Lalitpur Branch in Dr. Regmi Rheumatic Heart Disease Research Fund. WHD program was concluded with participation of 130 people.
